Find your way around
The sidebar, the top bar, Help, the AI assistant, themes and how your session stays signed in.
The console has three parts: the sidebar on the left lists every service, the top bar holds search, setup, help and your user menu, and the main area shows the screen you opened. Screens open in place, without reloading the page.
A browser refresh always brings you back to the dashboard. Use the sidebar to return to the screen you were on.
The sidebar
Groups start expanded. Click a group name to fold it away, and click the menu icon at the far left of the top bar to collapse or expand the whole sidebar.

The brand mark at the top of the sidebar takes you back to the dashboard.
The Fusion Container Services, Standard Core VPC and Enterprise Grade VPC items don't open a screen yet.
The top bar
From left to right: the sidebar toggle, the search box, Setup, the theme button, Help, the AI assistant and your user menu.
Search
Type in the search box to find a screen by name or description, for example "keys" or "invoices". Results appear as you type, grouped by sidebar group. Click a result to open it (pressing Enter doesn't open it). Click outside the box to close it.
Settings and Setup are not in the search results: open them from the top bar.
Setup
Setup shows your account checklist: profile, payment method, prefix, and a prefix attached to you. When everything is done it says Your account is Active. See Set up your account.
Help
Click Help to open the guide for the screen you are on, in a panel next to your work. You can keep using the console while it's open.
- Search help at the top of the panel finds any guide. Press Enter to open the first result.
- Back returns to the guide you were reading before. All help topics (the house icon) lists every guide, with the one for this screen at the top.
- Expand widens the panel over the main area so guides are easier to read. Click it again to go back to the side panel. The console remembers your choice.
- Open in a new tab (the arrow icon) opens the same guide as a full web page.
- Close (or press Esc) hides the panel.
The Info buttons next to screen titles open the matching guide in the same panel.
AI assistant
The brain icon next to Help opens SuperSense AI. Ask it about your environment in plain words. See SuperSense AI.
Theme
The palette icon after Setup opens the Theme panel.
- Sync with system follows your computer's light or dark mode.
- Layout sets the sidebar side (Left or Right), how it scrolls (Sticky or Fixed), the page width (Fluid or Boxed) and Compact (icons only). Layout changes apply and save straight away.
- Presets offers dark and light color themes. Click one to preview it.
- Fine-tune lets you pick individual colors.
Click Apply theme to keep your colors, or Reset to return to the default. If you close the panel without applying, the preview disappears the next time the page reloads. Theme choices are saved in this browser only, so another browser or computer keeps its own.
User menu
Click your avatar (a gear icon on small screens) at the top right:
- Settings: your profile, password, organization and billing details. See Profile and settings.
- Sign out: ends your session (see below).
The dashboard
The dashboard is the home screen you see after signing in.
Organize widgets
Click Organize widgets above the main area to arrange the dashboard.
- Organize tab: drag a tile onto another to reorder, drag its bottom-right corner to resize it, or drag it onto Drop here to remove. Removed widgets appear below as chips: click one to bring it back.
- Add Widget tab: search the catalog and click Add to board. Today the catalog has a Machines widget, which shows your machines list on the dashboard. Open the dashboard first, because the widget is added to the screen you're on.
Click Save layout to keep your changes, Cancel to close without saving, or Reset to default to start over. Your layout is saved in this browser only.
Messages
Confirmations and errors appear at the bottom center of the screen for a few seconds: green when something worked, red when it didn't. You can close a message early with its close button.
If you see "unauthorized" or "unable to process request", check that your role allows the action and that what you entered is valid. See Users and roles.
Contact support
The headset button in the bottom corner opens the Support form. Pick the services your question is about, add an alternate phone number if you like and describe the problem, then click Send. Your name and email are filled in for you. The form closes by itself a few seconds after it is sent.
Signing out
- Sign out yourself: user menu > Sign out.
- Idle sign-out: after a period without activity (60 minutes unless your platform sets another limit), the console signs you out in every tab. Moving the mouse, clicking, typing, touching or scrolling in any console tab counts as activity, and keeps all your tabs signed in. Time while your computer is asleep counts as idle.
- Warning first: a minute before you are signed out, a box at the bottom right counts down the seconds: You will be signed out in ...s because of inactivity. Click Stay signed in, or move the mouse.
When you're signed out you land on the sign-in screen. Sign in again to carry on: see Sign in.
